The Senate:...
Democratic Incumbent: Jay Rockefeller
Republican Challenger: Jay Wolfe
The House:...
West Virginia's 2nd congressional district: In 2006, incumbent Shelley Moore Capito (R) was reelected with 57%, a solid margin, but not a sign of political security. She faced a potentially difficult challenge from state Sen. John Unger (D), but Unger surprised many when he dropped out of the race.[182] The DCCC had called this race " a top target," and insist that it is still winnable. The Democratic nominee is Anne Barth, a longtime former aide to U.S. Sen. Robert Byrd [183]. Bush won 57% here in 2004.

Let the great game begin! Sure we'll be following the presidential race like everybody else. But the real fun will be right in your ol' back yard. This is a magic year for Democrats. Conventional wisdom says we don't have a chance at a "veto proof" majority in Congress ...but this year, anything can happen! Click your home State ...or any of the ones that you're interested in.
